Privacy Policy

TampaRentalRadar ("we," "us," or "our") operates tamparentalradar.com and the associated rental alert service. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address. If you connect Telegram alerts, we collect your Telegram Chat ID. If you subscribe to SMS alerts (coming soon), we also collect your mobile phone number in international format (E.164).

Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers. We retain only the Stripe Customer ID and subscription status necessary to manage your account.

Alert filters. We store the filter preferences you configure (neighborhoods, bedroom count, price ceilings, keywords) in order to match and deliver relevant rental alerts to you.

Usage data. We collect standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. We do not use third-party analytics trackers or advertising pixels.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Deliver rental alert notifications via email or Telegram based on your subscription tier.
  • Authenticate your account via magic-link email (no passwords stored).
  • Process and manage your subscription through Stripe.
  • Respond to support requests you initiate.
  • Maintain service security and prevent abuse.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. Telegram & Alert Communications

By connecting your Telegram account on the account page, you consent to receive recurring automated rental alert messages from our Telegram bot. Alert frequency varies based on listing activity — typically 1–20 alerts per day depending on your filter settings and market conditions.

To stop receiving Telegram alerts, disconnect via the account page or block the bot in Telegram. Your account and email alerts (if any) remain active.

SMS alerts (coming soon). SMS delivery is planned for a future update. When SMS launches, this section will be updated with applicable carrier opt-out instructions and consent language.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited data with the following processors, solely to operate the service:

  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and subscription management. stripe.com/privacy
  • Twilio Inc. — SMS delivery (coming soon). When SMS alerts launch, your phone number will be transmitted to Twilio to send alerts. twilio.com/legal/privacy
  • Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery (magic-link emails and email alerts). resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • Anthropic, PBC — AI-assisted listing classification. Listing title and body text may be sent to Anthropic's API to classify listings as by-owner, managed, or potential scam. No personal account data is included. anthropic.com/legal/privacy
  • Railway Corp — cloud hosting for the application and database.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and alert history for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request deletion, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention purposes.

6. Security

We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Sessions are managed via secure, HTTP-only cookies. We do not store passwords. Payment card data never touches our servers — Stripe handles it directly. While we take reasonable precautions, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You may at any time:

  • Access or correct your account information by contacting support.
  • Delete your account by emailing support@tamparentalradar.com. We will remove your personal data within 30 days.
  • Disconnect Telegram alerts via your account page or by blocking the bot in Telegram.
  • Opt out of email alerts by canceling your subscription via the billing portal.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

8. Children's Privacy

TampaRentalRadar is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
